Carnevale di Venezia
In 1797, was the last "historic" Carnival in Venice. Shortly after, the Republic falls on the hands of Napoleon decreed the end of independence and the typical Venetian feast is abolished for about two centuries. Only since 1967, it began to organize the first event with parades of masks, and in 1979 it was drafted for the first time a program that aims to involve the Venetians in parties and shows, and become an immediate success.
a success that has lasted for thirty years and will continue, with all its traditional festivals: the flight of 'angel, the feast of Marie, a toast to the fountain of wine, the parade of the best mask and others entertainments.
